A dusty road, a lot of space
The moonless Sky almost pitch black
I realised there's no turning back

The West Coast seems so distant now
We've travelled as far as our eyes can allow
And it's almost time to set up camp
A light in the desert, a broken lamp
And with the stars on the Horizon

The wider universe and you
The isolation that I feel
The canopy of stars surreal

Serenity that comes with being
So far away from everything
The Roadhouse folk wished us well
But warned us there was no hotels
We shared a drink and then on our way
We drove for almost half a day
This road it twists and winds it seems
yet here we are sharing a dream
