The term folk culture can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people. I wrote this song during a crazy time in our nation's history where Bible believing Christians, free thinkers and those standing up for medical freedoms etc where heavily persecuted and at times ostracized.

Folk culture for me means the opposite to mainstream, pop culture.
It can be life in the margins, life between the steps.
Being in the world but not of the world.

Faith, community, rural living, simplicity, minimalism, contentment, discernment, health, friendship, empathy, love.
